These terms cover your use of this website and give a plain-English summary of how our packages work. They are not legal advice.
About these terms
This website is run by ANMOAS (ABN 82 528 134 601), the business of André Asen, trading as A-Bower, on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. By using the website you agree to these terms.
When you become a client, we both sign a written client agreement before any work starts. That agreement sets out the full terms of your package, and if it says something different from this page, the agreement applies.
Prices and quotes
Prices on this website are in Australian dollars and are written as the price plus GST, with the total including GST in brackets. The packages, the indicative package in the quote form and anything Bower says are a guide, not an offer. We confirm the scope and price in writing before you commit to anything.
Free previews
After a 30-minute meeting we can build two previews of your new website, free and with no obligation. You don't have to pay for them or go ahead. The previews stay ours, and you may use them only to look at and comment on. If you don't go ahead, we delete them 45 days after we send them.
How our packages work
A summary of the main points of the client agreement:
- No deposit, pay to launch. We invoice the setup when you approve the finished website, and it goes live on your domain once that invoice is paid. Invoices are due within 7 days.
- Launch is a one-off package. We fix any defect free of charge for 30 days after the site goes live, and other changes are charged at our hourly rate.
- Tending and Full Tending are care plans. They have a 12-month minimum term from the day the site goes live, then continue month to month until either of us gives 30 days' written notice.
- Leaving early. You can end a care plan during the minimum term with 30 days' written notice by paying an early exit fee: the monthly fees left in the minimum term, less any costs we save because the plan ends early.
- Yearly review. On each anniversary of your launch, care plan fees may rise by up to 5%, or by the CPI increase if that is higher. We tell you in writing at least 30 days before, and if you don't accept the increase you can end the plan without an exit fee.
- Handover. Whenever a plan ends, we hand your website over within 30 days at no extra cost: we move it to a hosting account in your name or give you a copy of its files. Fees owed up to the end date are still payable.
- Extra work outside your package is quoted first and charged at $110 + GST ($121) an hour, with a 1-hour minimum.
Who owns your website
Your domain and the content you give us are always yours. The design and code made specifically for your website become yours once the setup fee is paid in full. Our own tools, templates and code that we reuse across projects stay ours, and you receive a permanent, royalty-free licence to use, copy and change them as part of your website. Your consumer rights
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms or in the client agreement limits those rights.
Using this website
- The example designs on this website are made for fictional businesses, to show what we can build. They are not real businesses or client work.
- We try to keep everything on this website accurate and up to date, but it is general information and may change without notice.
- Links to other websites, such as our booking page or LinkedIn, are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content.
- Please don't misuse the website or its forms, for example by sending spam or trying to break its security.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using this website or relying on its general information.
